The port function group performs direct I/O port operations, such as reading or writing data to a specified I/O port. These functions are only for the advanced user who wants to manipulate the device at the register level. The specified I/O port is a complete PC's I/O address (base address + offset). There are three kinds of port I/O operations based on the data width.
